These Vendor Terms and Conditions govern your use of the vendor services provided by Pennyfy. By registering as a vendor and listing your products or services on Pennyfy, you agree to be bound by these terms.
These Vendor Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") govern your use of the vendor services provided by Pennyfy ("we", "us", or "our") via the Pennyfy platform. By registering as a vendor and listing your products or services on Pennyfy, you agree to be bound by these terms.
To use Pennyfy's vendor platform, you must register and create a vendor account. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information about your business. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
You may list products and services available for sale on Pennyfy. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, quality, and legality of your listings, including prices, descriptions, and inventory levels.
As a vendor on Pennyfy, you agree to pay a 5.5% commission on each completed sale. This fee will be automatically deducted from your earnings prior to payout. Vendor payouts are made through Paystack (Nigeria) and Stripe (internationally) within 0–24 hours if there are no disputes, or up to 72 hours when a standard dispute-resolution window applies.
You are solely responsible for determining, collecting, reporting, and remitting all applicable taxes (including VAT, GST, or sales tax) associated with your product or service sales through Pennyfy. Pennyfy does not collect or remit taxes on your behalf unless explicitly stated.
As a vendor on Pennyfy, you may gain access to confidential information relating to our platform, operations, technologies, business practices, and customers. You agree to treat all such information as strictly confidential and not to use or disclose it to any third party without Pennyfy's prior written consent, except as required by law.
In Canada, and the UK, vendors handle deliveries within 3-5 days, with customers paying delivery fees directly. Pennyfy will share recommended pricing based on market rates, and vendors must give timely, accurate updates. In Nigeria, vendors should handle deliveries within 3-5 days, deliveries are managed by Pennyfy's logistics partner.
Pennyfy is committed to protecting the privacy and security of vendor and customer data. We comply with all applicable data protection laws including PIPEDA (Canada), PIPA (Alberta), and NDPR (Nigeria). You are responsible for ensuring your data practices comply with applicable laws.
If a customer raises a complaint, Pennyfy may hold the related funds until the issue is resolved. Vendors are expected to cooperate in resolving disputes before moving complaints to the authorities.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Pennyfy shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pennyfy from claims arising out of your use of the platform or breach of these terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate vendor accounts for violations of this Agreement, fraudulent activities, money laundering activities, or any action that harms Pennyfy's reputation or operations.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted will constitute your acceptance of those changes.
